On Saturday, April 10, 2021, the Committee for Youth Affairs of the Dagestan State Medical University organized an entertaining escape room “Through hardships to the stars”, dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics. Cosmonautics Day is celebrated annually on April 12, the day when Yuri Gagarin made an orbital flyby of the Earth on the Vostok spacecraft for the first time in the history of mankind.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the DSMU Youth Affairs Committee, deputy of the Youth Parliament at the People’s Assembly of the Republic Bilal Pirmagomedov. “I believe that such events bring us together, develop team spirit in guys! After all, the most important thing is not the winning, it’s the taking part,” he said.
The event was attended by 9 teams. The organizers prepared 13 of the most interesting stations for them. Just as cosmonauts eagerly study space, so the participants passed through one station after another with special curiosity and interest. The following teams broke out and scored the most points: the “Dream team” took the first place with honor, followed closely by the “Madly possible to be the first” team, and the “Fidgets” team rounds out top three winners. The winners were awarded with prizes and certificates of honor.
