DSMU took part in the Chinese-Russian Forum of Students and Young Scientists

Dagestan State Medical University took part in the Chinese-Russian Forum of students and Young Scientists of the RCAMU Youth Alliance “Recent achievements in endocrinology — 2021”, which took place on December 15, 2021 in online format. The event was organized by Harbin Medical University. The co-organizer is Dagestan State Medical University. The main purpose of the forum was to establish mutual communication and exchange of experience in the field of endocrinology between Chinese and Russian young scientists and students.                       

Before the forum, a video presentation of the participants – Harbin Medical University and Dagestan State Medical University was demonstrated. The welcoming speech was delivered by the acting Rector of DSMU Visampasha Khanaliev and the director of the Department of Endocrinology of the First Hospital of Harbin Medical University Kuan Hong-yu.

Reports of Chinese and Dagestani young scientists were presented during the forum: Omarova Naira (DSMU) “The frequency of polymorphic variants of the vitamin D receptor gene in patients with coronary heart disease with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus among the population of the Republic of Dagestan”; Lin Wenjian (HMU) “Liraglutide regulation of age-induced migration of pericytes through autophagy”; Ramazanova Zaira (DSMU) “The future in the treatment of obesity and an alternative to bariatrics”; Zhang Ziying (HMU) “The influence of high glucose and fat content on autophagy and mitophagy in cardiomyocytes”; Soltakhanova Aiganat (DSMU) “Allgrove syndrome. Clinical picture” and others.

The Forum was productive. Chinese colleagues highly appreciated the level of reports of young scientists of Dagestan State Medical University.
