Exhibition “Young scientists – the future of Russia”

The exhibition “Young Scientists are the Future of Russia” was opened in the historical park-museum “Russia-my History” within the framework of the federal project on November 23, 2022.

The event was organized by the Youth Parliament at the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation and is aimed at increasing the prestige of a scientist, popularizing science and the activities of young scientists.

The first guests of the exhibition were Vice-Speaker of the Republican Parliament Kamil Davdiev, Chairman of the Committee on Culture, Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Murat Paizulaev, Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science Elena Pavlyuchenko, deputies Marina Kotenko, Jamaludin Nazhmudinov, Osman Bulatov, Sultan Ibragimov, Magomed Alikhanov and coach of the Russian national judo team Magomed Magomedov, members of the Youth Parliament and students of republican universities.

Chairman of the Youth Parliament Khochbar Barkaev made a welcoming speech and told the guests that the project “Young Scientists are the future of Russia” is aimed at informing the residents of the country about the achievements of young scientists. “Young scientists are the people who are an example for our youth, because their hard work, perseverance in work, love for science and the Motherland is what we must pass on to children from generation to generation,” he stressed.

At the same time, the exhibition also featured photographs of young scientists of the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of DSMU, the head of the Sector for the Development of Youth Initiatives and Student Governments Milana Yunusova, as well as the chairman of the Student Scientific Society Surkhay Khammayev.

Young scientists demonstrated their own achievements and showed amazing experiments within the framework of the exhibition.

The exposition was also visited by activists of Student organizations of DSMU, who shared that it was very interesting and informative, because such events help to form a unified approach to the development of science and education in the regions of Russia. It is worth mentioning that exhibitions with portraits of young scientists and information about their contribution to the development of Russian science are opening in all regions. Each of them includes 15 portraits from the federal list, as well as 5 portraits of scientists from the region. Similar expositions are planned to be organized throughout the country.
