Participation of teachers and students of foreign universities in the educational process of DSMU

Within the framework of international cooperation of Dagestan State Medical University with foreign partner universities, work is being carried out to attract teaching stuff  and students from foreign countries to the educational process of Dagestan State Medical University. Demonstration classes are held in the scientific and educational innovation center of DSMU on the basis of the Medical College, according to WorldSkills standards in order to exchange experience, improve the quality of training of medical personnel.

Classes are held in English, in a hybrid format, using distance learning technologies on the ZOOM platform with the involvement of foreign guests and the use of tutor support for Medical College students.

A teacher of the Medical College Karine Magomedova held a practical lesson for first-year international students of the Medical Faculty of DSMU (students from India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Swaziland, South Africa) on the topic : “Oxygenotherapy” on December 3, 2021.The event was actively attended by teachers and students of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (Almaty), Kazakh-Russian Medical University (Almaty), Andijan State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (Uzbekistan), Harbin Medical University (HMU), Vitebsk State Medical University and Grodno State Medical University of the Republic of Belarus.

Karina Magomedova demonstrated a high level of professionalism and pedagogical skills, aroused the interest of the audience in the problem posed.

The Director of the Medical College Magomed Magomaye welcomed the guests and in his speech told about the work carried out at the Medical College according to WorldSkills standards and about the intention to actively develop this direction further. One of the key points in the Worldskills movement is the concept of competence. Worldskills is a program aimed at improving the quality of training in working professions and popularizing these professions among young people.

The head of the Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology, Professor Mamur Abdurakhmanov, spoke on behalf of the Bukhara State Medical Institute. He thanked the leadership of DSMU and MC for the invitation to such an interesting and useful event for students and a useful exchange of experience for teachers.
