Republican conference Khasayev Readings-2023

The Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Khasayev Readings – 2023” was held on 27 December in the conference hall of the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 of Dagestan State Medical University. The participants of the conference were doctors of practical healthcare of the Republic of Dagestan, medical residents and employees of DSMU.

Professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 Suleiman Mammaev opened the conference and welcomed its participants on behalf of the Rector of DSMU. He reminded that today’s session is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding teacher and doctor, Professor Akhmed Sheikhovich Khasayev. “He devoted his whole life to training young doctors. Professor A.Sh. Khasayev was distinguished by great efficiency, breadth of medical outlook, huge stock of knowledge and skills, desire to introduce new methods of diagnostics and treatment. But we should especially note his high moral qualities. Today we pay tribute to the memory and great respect to our teacher,” he said.

During the conference there were delivered reports on relevant topics: “Nutrition of Dagestan mountaineers and their longevity” – Suleiman Mammayev; “Cardiovascular risk in inflammatory joint diseases” – medical resident of the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 Zaira Shahbanovna; ” Chronic Heart Failure, what is new in the recommendations of 2023?”. – medical resident of the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 Amina Pirmagomedova; “ACS, new in the recommendations of 2023” – medical resident of the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 Saida Abdulmejidova.

The conference was successful and productive and fulfilled the planned programme.
