Results of the Championship of the Republic of Dagestan in volleyball among men’s and women’s teams of higher educational institutions

The Championship of the Republic of Dagestan in volleyball among men’s and women’s teams of higher educational institutions was held from April 21 to 24, 2024. The competition was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding master of sports of the USSR, Mirza Abdurakhmanovich Hasanov, and became an important event in the sports life of the region.

For four days, the participants fought for the title of the best on the sites of Dagestan, showing a high level of preparation and skill.

As a result, the team of Dagestan State University won the gold medal among men’s teams. The silver medal went to the team of Dagestan State Medical University, and the bronze medal was won by the team of Dagestan State University of National Economy.

Among the women’s teams, athletes from DSU were also able to win the championship, proving their superiority in a tense struggle. The second and third places, similar to the men’s league, were taken by participants from DSMU and DGUNH respectively.

We wish more successes and achievements to our athletes in future competitions and believe that each of their starts will be more successful!
