The meeting of the Academic Council of Dagestan State University was held on November 24 in the Morphological Building. The meeting was opened and led by the chairman of the Council – the acting rector of DSMU Razin Ragimov. Before the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the university staff who left over the past month.

Then there was pleasant news — a teacher of  DSMU Medical College Madina Nurutdinova , who took 1st place in the competence of «Medical and social care» in the final of the IV National Championship of Professional Skills of Worldskills Russia «Skills of the Wise» (50+)  were awarded by a gold medal and a diploma.

Then the council members moved on to discuss the agenda, which included 4 issues: competitive affairs; COVID-19: the state of the problem in the republic and the main activities of  Dagestan State Medical University; about the main priorities of the work of the Security Department for the period of the current academic year; different.

Svetlana Mineeva, Secretary of the competition commission, informed the members of the council about the candidates elected to various positions at the university and submitted for academic titles.

The report «COVID-19: the state of the problem in the republic and the main activities of  Dagestan State Medical University» was announced by Acting Vice-Rector for Medical Work Magomed Khamidov. In his speech, he familiarized the audience with the picture of the incidence of coronavirus infection in the world, the country and the republic, outlined measures to counter the spread of infection and its prevention, told about the work carried out at the university in this direction.

In the report «On the main priorities of the work of the Security Department for the period of the current academic year», the head of the department outlined in detail the areas of work of each department that is part of the unit, priorities in work and other information.

In the  section  “Different”, information was  shared  from the university management, heads of structural divisions.
