On April 20-22, 2021, the final of the competition for innovative projects and startups “Potential of the Future” was held in a remote format within the framework of the International Youth Scientific Forum “Lomonosov-2021”.

The forum was organized by the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Russian Union of Student Organizations, the Student Union of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and the All-Russian Club of Young Researchers.

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate the entrepreneurial activity of young people and help them find potential investors for innovative projects and startups. During the extramural preliminaries, the experts reviewed and evaluated the submitted projects and identified more than 100 finalists.

Three projects were submitted from DSMU. Two of them were selected by experts. One of the works was presented in a poster report, the second was included in the oral stage.

Zaripat Asadulayeva, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, participated remotely in the oral stage from DSMU with the project “Development of respirators and surgical masks with nano-coatings as the most effective means of antibacterial and antiviral protection of the population”.

The contest “Potential of the Future” was supported by the grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, provided by the Presidential Grants Fund of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization “Russian Union of Student Organizations” for the project “International Youth Scientific Forum “Lomonosov”.

Congratulations to the finalist Zaripat Asadulayeva and the project managers: Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of DSMU Razin Rahimov, Senior researcher of the Research Institute of Environmental Medicine of DSMU Ilmutdin Abdulagatov and Head of the Department of Grants and Innovations of DSMU Naida Abdullayeva.
