The All-Russian scientific and practical event “RELAY OF UNIVERSITY SCIENCE – 2022” has ended. The event is held in order to support leading research teams engaged in research activities in priority areas of medical science development, focused on the creation of high-tech innovative products that ensure the preservation and strengthening of public health; integration of scientific and innovative experience, educational activities and the treatment process. Projects in various areas of medicine were submitted from DSMU through an online system on the website www.vuznauka.confreg.org .

The works passed several stages of examination – examination at the university, regional examination in the North Caucasus Federal District and Federal examination, according to the results of which 2 winners of DSMU were determined.

In the direction of “applied scientific and technological developments in the field of medicine and biomedicine: test systems, devices, equipment” – assistant of the Department of General Surgery Rosa Sultanova with the project “Method for determining the localization of tumor obstruction of the biliary tract and the degree of its prevalence”, scientific supervisor Prof. Rasul Medzhidov.

In the direction of “clinical research in reproductive health” – Assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Pediatric, Dental and Preventive Medicine Faculties Muminat Idrisova with the project “The influence of psychosocial stress factors on the development of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women against the background of metabolic syndrome”, scientific supervisor Prof. Asiyat Esedova.

Presentations and awarding of the winners will take place at the International Medical Forum “University Science. Innovations 2022” at the First Sechenov Moscow State Medical University on April 28-29, 2022.

Research projects of employees and young scientists of DSMU annually reach the final and become winners. DSMU was awarded diplomas and cups as the winner of the All-Russian scientific and practical event “Relay of University Science” in the nomination 5 TOP universities in 2018-2019 and became the main basic university for the “Relay of University Science” in 2020.
