On the eve of April 20, the House of Friendship hosted the republican stage of the festival “Student Spring-2021” organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan. The participants of the annual festival were about a hundred students of the leading universities of the republic, who presented vocal compositions, choreographic performances, theatrical performances and much more.

Each artistic performance was awarded with a certificate of honor, and all universities that took part in the competition program were awarded with letters of thanks and memorable gifts. The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Komil Saidov and the Director of the Republican Youth Center Rashid Maksutov.

Addressing the youth, Kamil Saidov noted the high level of creative performances and congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the regional stage of the festival «Student Spring». 

The Cultural Center of the Dagestan State Medical University diligently prepares and takes part in this festival every year. Activists of the DSMU Culture Center are winners of previous festivals in various categories. This year, our students won 5 prizes and became the winners of the Republican Gala Concert «Dagestan Student Spring-2021». 

These are the ensemble of the DSMU Center of Culture “Heart of the Caucasus”, which presented the Darginsky dance, the vocal and instrumental ensemble of the DSMU Center of Culture “Khrustalik” with the folk song in Lak “Chargudey”, Angelika Muslimova with a song in French and a backup dance of the ballet performed by Aida Vystropova, Revaz Rusidze with the song in Russian “Cranes”, Lulu Mapito in a beautiful performance of the dance «Afrohop». 

 Following the results of the last regional selection, a delegation of the Republic of Dagestan will be formed to participate in the All-Russian festival “Russian Student Spring-Spring of Discoveries!”, which will be held in Nizhny Novgorod in May this year.
