An employee of DSMU, as part of the team of the Southern Federal District, became a prize-winner of the Russian mini-football championship among doctors with international participation

The Russian mini-football championship among doctors with international participation was held in the city of Ufa on the basis of the Bashkir State Medical University on January 4-5.

23 teams from different cities of Russia took part in the tournament, as well as the national teams of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. More than 250 doctors from 16 regions competed in two age groups in Ufa for the title of champion of Russia. The organizers of the championship are the Association of Football Amateur Doctors, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sports of Bashkortostan, the Trade Union of Health Workers of the Russian Federation and the Bashkir State Medical University.

The team of doctors of the Southern Federal District included Zakir Zapirov, a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Medicine of the Dagestan State Medical University. The team of the Southern Federal District took second place in the final standings of the Cup.
