Congratulation of the Rector V.Y. Khanaliev on the Day of Russian Science

Dear colleagues and students of the Dagestan State Medical University, we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the Day of Russian Science, which is held in our country every year on February 8th. This event is dedicated to the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as the establishment of the Academic University by Emperor Peter the Great.

Among the scientists who have significantly contributed to the development of various fields of medical science, many have graduated from the DSMI, DSMA, or DSMU, worked at these institutions, or continue to do so at present. I am confident that among today’s university students there are many future prominent scientists and researchers who will leave their mark in the history of Russian medicine. The close connection between generations, the integration of fundamental and applied sciences, and the desire to address the most significant challenges related to preserving human life and well-being form the foundation of the university’s scientific traditions.

I would like to extend my best wishes to everyone who considers science the purpose of their life, with endless inspiration, optimism, and self-confidence. May you be filled with bold and creative ideas, and enjoy the joy of discovery. May your efforts lead to happiness as you uncover the unknown.
