DSMU Cultural Center Activists performed at the Poetry Theatre

On June 2, at the Poetry Theater, activists of the DSMU Cultural Center presented their music and poetry program.

The debut of the activists of the DSMU Culture Center on the stage of the Poetry Theater took place in 2019 at the Republican Festival-Competition of Theater Studios of student youth “We are given a life that has no price”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the defeat of international gangs in August-September 1999. With the play “There are no Foreign Mothers” based on the play by Lieutenant Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Angela Martirosova, they took first place.

At the meeting in the Poetry Theater, the activists of the DSMU Culture Center performed poems by Rasul Gamzatov, Sergei Yesenin, Bella Akhmadulina, Inga Cech.

The theater circle under the guidance of the 6th year student of the medical faculty Rusidze Revaza presented a dramatization of the poem “The Black Man” by Sergei Yesenin and a mini-play based on the play called “That’s the way” about the people’s militia of the Honored Artist of Dagestan Ariza Batyrova.

The play is presented to the public for the first time at the 2019 festival. It tells about a day in the life of a Dagestani family in August 1999 and the difficult decisions that the characters are forced to make in the circumstances.

There were also songs in the Georgian language and a song» Redemption Song” by Bob Marley.

At the end of the wonderful evening, Natalia Aliyeva, director of the DSMU Culture Center, and Abdulla Fataliyev, her deputy for cult and mass work, People’s Artist of Dagestan, made speeches.

Deputy Director of the Poetry Theater Ariza Batyrova thanked the participants of the meeting and invited the activists of the DSMU Culture Center to further cooperation.
