DSMU students attended a concert dedicated to doctors

November 20 at the Russian Theater. M. Gorky, after a long break, the theater season was opened. It began with a concert “Thank you to doctors” in honor of all medical workers who have been fighting the new coronavirus infection for a long time. Medical students of the Dagestan State Medical University were also invited to the event, who attended the concert together with the vice-rector for social and educational work Elmira Abieva, assistant to the vice-rector Albert Alimetov, as well as employees of the department for work with student organizations and university teachers. The Lezginka ensemble, artists of the Opera and Ballet Theater, People’s Artists of the Republic of Dagestan Alexei Timokhin, Danil Ganyushkin, children’s ensembles and many others performed vocal and choreographic numbers in honor of medical workers who are on the front lines in the fight against Covid-19. A lot of warm words sounded from the stage addressed to all health workers who daily perform invaluable and hard work. The Russian Theater also organized a live broadcast of the concert for those doctors who were at work and could not attend. The event was held in compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
