Dagestan State Medical University took part in the Republican Scientific and Practical conference with international participation “Coronavirus infection: topical issues of diagnosis and treatment in medical practice”, which takes place on April 28-30 at  Andijan State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan).                   

Representatives of various universities of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Germany take part in it. Dagestan State Medical University was presented online by Suleiman Mammayev, Professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy No. 1 and Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases of  Faculty of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining  Saniyat Magomedova .

Suleiman Mammayev co-chaired the second plenary session, together with the Scientific Secretary of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Mother and Child” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Larisa Gorbach (Minsk, Belarus), Professor of the Department of Neurology of Bashkir Medical University Leyla Akhmedeeva and Associate Professor of the Department of Phthisiology, Pulmonology, Microbiology, Immunology and Virology of ASMI (Andijan, Uzbekistan) Ruzikhon Khakimova.

Representatives of DSMU made presentations: “Immunopathogenesis of a new coronavirus infection” – Suleiman Mammayev and “Preventive therapy of COVID-19 – what can we do in the hospital?” – Saniyat Magomedov.
