The II All-Russian seminar-meeting “Problems and tasks of organizing research work of students of universities of the Russian Federation” was held at the Southern Federal University on November 14, 2022. Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of DSMU Naida Mollaeva and Director of Scientific and Educational Center(SES) of DSMU Naida Abdullaeva took part in it.
The seminar-meeting was organized by the Southern Federal University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The event was held in the format of a foresight session “Student scientific associations: the image of the future”.
The purpose of the seminar-meeting is to present the image of the future of student scientific societies using the best practices of working with Student scientific circles (SSS) at Russian universities, the organizational management model of the system of scientific societies at universities, the development of support mechanisms for students participating in SSS, as well as the presentation of an analytical report on the materials of the seminar–meeting, including the best practices of the development of SSS.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Grigory Gurov addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. Then the rector of the Southern Federal University Inna Shevchenko made a welcoming speech.
The event was attended by vice-rectors of educational institutions of higher education, scientific and pedagogical staff of universities, representatives of student scientific associations and student self-government bodies.
Director of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of SFU Vladimir Kirik stressed that a target model for the development of student scientific associations will be formulated in 2022 and also noted the importance of uniting a professional community representing all federal districts of Russia at the seminar-meeting site.
Among the proposals that will be consolidated into a single resolution Among the proposals that will be consolidated into a single resolution, the following theses were made: regulatory and legal conditions should be created for the simplified promotion of university teams at investment sessions with industrial partners, the involvement of new members in SSS should begin at school, for which a special project is needed – the pilot name “School Scientific Community (SSC)”. SSS should coordinate their own psychological and pedagogical service, cooperate more closely with the scientific laboratories of their universities. The full list of recommendations will be available when the resolution is published.
