Vaccination against COVID-19 continues at Dagestan State Medical University. Repeated vaccination on Monday, March 15, received 10 people. Previously, they underwent a preliminary examination before vaccination. Employees of the Medical College at DSMU were also vaccinated primarily. Their number was 17 people.
 
The second component of the preparation is administered three weeks after the first. A two-fold administration scheme allows the formation of long-term immunity. The experience of using vector vaccines (with a two-fold administration scheme) shows that immunity persists until 2 years.
 
Imanali Mustafayev, head of the department for working with students, spoke about how the vaccination took place. The first stage was successful, there were no complications in the vaccination process. “In some cases, patients after the vaccination showed a mild subfebrile rise in temperature, no one had allergic reactions,” said I. Mustafaev.
