Students from Khasavyurt were arranged a meeting with the head of the district

On April 20, 2021, within the walls of the Innovative Scientific and Educational Center of the Dagestan State Medical University, a meeting of students-representatives of the Khasavyurt district with the head was held, which was organized by the Committee for Youth Affairs of the DSMU.

The event was attended by: head of the MD “Khasavyurt district” Dzhambulat Salavov, Vice-rector for Strategic Development of the State Medical University Rumi Atakhanov, Chief doctor of the CDH of the Khasavyurt district Shamil Minatullayev, Deputy Head of the administration of the Khasavyurt district for Social Affairs Vakhit Kasimov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Rustam Alkhanov.

The meeting began with a solemn speech by R. Atakhanov Rumi, who on behalf of the Rector of DSMU Suleiman Mammayev expressed gratitude to the initiators and guests of the meeting. He also added that such events are of great importance both for students and for the educational institution.

This event is held within the framework of the “VUZ-region” project implemented by the university, during which such topics as plans to improve the provision of medical care in the district, targeted training and implementation of the “Zemsky Doctor” program, and mechanisms for targeted admission were discussed.

Throughout the meeting, the role of moderator was performed by the chairman of the KDM DSMU, deputy of the Youth Parliament at the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Moldova Bilal Pirmagomedov.

The event was held in the format of “dialogue on equal terms”, so the students were able to ask the audience their questions, and the meeting ended with the awarding of honorary diplomas by the head of the district to honors student and public figures from the Khasavyurt district.
