The city festival of amateur students “Golden Autumn” is held annually in the capital’s Palace of Culture. The event was organized by the Committee on Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the administration of Makhachkala and the City Youth Center.

 The festival is held in order to preserve and increase the moral and cultural achievements of students and to increase the level of artistic creativity of student collectives. It is here that young people are given the opportunity to show their talents, creativity, vocal abilities and choreographic capabilities.

  According to the decision of the jury, which included the heads of production centers, stars of Dagestan pop, leading choreographers, artistic directors and theater artists, the winners of the qualifying stages of the festival and the contest “My Dagestan” became participants of the Gala concert.

  All the numbers were beautiful, because the best representatives of creative youth from each university reached the final. This was also noted by the guests of the festival, who came out to award the contestants with diplomas and gifts.

 By tradition, at the end of the festive concert, the participants performed the song “Golden Autumn”, which has already become an anthem, the author of which is the Honored Artist of  Karachay-Cherkess Republic Aigazi Aigumov.
