The regular meeting of the scientific Council of the Dagestan state medical University was held on December 26, 2016 in the biological building of DSMU. On the agenda of the meeting, 5 issues were: competitive; on educational work in DSMU; on the work of the professorial clinic DSMU; about the revival of the vocal-instrumental ensemble “Khrustalic” and so on.

Before the meeting, the rector of DSMU Suleiman Mamayev congratulated all those present on the coming New year, noting that this year was full of pleasant events for Dagestan State Medical University. He thanked everyone for supporting the initiatives of the University management and wished the staff and students of the University further success, peace and health.

On behalf of the people’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan, Chairman of the Committee on health and social policy, head of the Department of Phthisiopulmonology  of DSMU Visampasha Yusupov congratulated everyone on the coming new year: “I wish you and your family health and well-being. We all see positive changes taking place in the University. I would like to thank the team headed by Suleiman Nurattinovich from the National Assembly and  myself  for such a successful and efficient work in all areas of the University’s activities.”

Then, by tradition, pleasant news was announced. The staff and students of the DSMU who became winners of various competitions of regional and all-Russian level  received deserved awards.

The Secretary of the competition Commission Svetlana Mineeva informed the members of the Academic Council about the candidates elected to various positions at the University and presented to the academic ranks.

The report on educational work in DSMU for 2018 was presented by acting Vice-rector for General Affairs and social and educational work Elmira Abieva. “Our University carries out purposeful work on the formation of our students’ sense of patriotism, spiritual and moral values. This work is impossible without the efforts of all structural units of the University. Only together we can achieve results,” she said.  E. Abieva elaborated on the work done during this year, told about the most significant events.

On the work of the professorial clinic DSMU said the Director Eldar Mikailov. He reported on the work done, noting that this year the clinic began working  in a new format and became a  professorial. Here according to the patient’s schedule professors of  DSMU give the consultation . In addition, in 2018, about 700 employees of the University underwent medical examinations in the polyclinic.

Vice-rector for economics and administrative work Siadat Idrissova told about the revival of the vocal-instrumental ensemble “Khrustalic”. The section “miscellaneous” information sounded  from the members of the Academic Council and other participants of the meeting on the upcoming events .
