The student of DSMU was awarded with the diploma of I degree and a cup at the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists (in English) “Topical Issues of Medicine”

On April 25, 2024, the International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Researchers in English “Topical Issues in Medicine” was held at Stavropol State Medical University. The event was organized with the support of the All India Association of Graduates of Foreign Medical Universities and Rossotrudnichestvo.

The conference gathered more than 740 students from different parts of Russia and abroad, including teachers and young scientists from Dagestan State Medical University, Chita State Medical Academy, North Ossetian State Medical Academy, Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute – branch of VolgGMU, Ryazan State Medical University, Kuban State Medical University, and Essentuki branch of St. Petersburg State Medical University.

The conference gathered more than 740 students from different parts of Russia and abroad. Among the participants were students, young scientists and teachers from various educational institutions, including Dagestan State Medical University, Chita State Medical Academy, North Ossetian State Medical Academy, Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute-branch of VolgGMU, Ryazan State Medical University, Kuban State Medical University, and Essentuki branch of StSMU.

The conference featured 93 papers in eight different sections, each of which addressed pressing problems and issues in the field of medicine. The participants demonstrated exceptional professionalism, talent and creativity in presenting their research papers.

Patimat Muslimova, a 4th year medical student of Dagestan State Medical University, received special recognition at this conference. She made a report on “Otogenic intracranial complications” in the section “Topical issues of surgery”, prepared under the guidance of Dr. Yunuskadi Jamaludinov, MD, Head of the Department of Ear, Throat and Nose Diseases, and Dr. Burliyat Abusueva, MD, Head of the Department of Nervous Diseases.

At the finale of the event, Vice-Rector for International and Interregional Activities Karen Amlaev and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Stoyana Znamenskaya presented Patimat with a first degree diploma and a cup for her contribution to the development of topical scientific research in medicine. This award was a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding achievements and contribution to the development of medical science.
