Thematic exhibition dedicated to the “No smoking day”

    A thematic book exhibition “I choose health” was launched in the scientific department of the library of Dagestan State Medical University. It is timed to the international “No smoking  day” which was established by the American Cancer Society in 1977.

 The purpose of the campaign is to help reduce the spread of tobacco addiction, involve all segments of the population and doctors of all specialties in the fight against smoking, as well as inform society about the harmful effects of tobacco. The head of the Scientific Department Izumrud Alieva conducted an overview conversation with the students on the book exhibition.

Popular scientific and educational literature on the dangers of smoking and healthy lifestyle is presented to the students, residents, teachers.
