Visampasha Khanaliev has been appointed Acting Rector of Dagestan State Medical University since December 1, 2021. The corresponding order signed by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko was announced at a video conference today by the head of the Department of Medical Education and Personnel Policy in Healthcare of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Letnikova. Deputy Prime Minister Murad Kaziev, First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Yuri Levitsky, and Vice-rectors of  Dagestan State Medical University  took part in the solemn presentation of the Acting Rector.

“Visampasha Yusupovich is not a new person for you. He graduated from Dagestan Medical Institute and has work experience in practical healthcare, experience in the Legislative Assembly of Dagestan. Visampasha Yusupovich heads the department of  Dagestan  State Medical University. We are confident that the work of the team under the leadership of Visampasha Yusupovich will be successful.

Dagestan State Medical University has a long history since the date of its establishment  and occupies a stable position in the ranking of universities. However, it is necessary to pay attention that the primary task of the university staff is to train personnel, including during the pandemic  and to fulfill the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on 100% employment of graduates who studied at the university. To do this, it is necessary to establish work with the entities that gave targeted directions to applicants, to return them to their places  and it is mandatory to provide for penalties that have been in effect since 2019. We would like to see in some time the directions that the team with the new rector sees for a year, and we hope for successful work,” L. Letnikova said.
