The clinical basis of the course of endocrinology was determined by the endocrinology department of the RCH per 50 beds.

Candidate of Medical Sciences I. I. Shikhsaidov, who previously worked at the Sverdlovsk Medical Institute and defended his dissertation on pharmacotherapy of thyroid diseases, was elected an assistant of the course of endocrinology in 1983. I. I. Shikhsaidov has been an associate professor of the Department of Endocrinology since 1991.

In 1983, the course of endocrinology was transferred to the newly opened inpatient department of endocrinology at the republican antimicrobial dispensary.
